I went to the E R with a ear ache and the was given a perscription drug instead of writing a perscription. I was not told that this would be a charge nor was I told that it would cost $182.30. Had I have been informed of this cost I would have refused it. When I got the bill it did not say what it was for and since I have Medicare and Medicare plan J that covers all deductables I was surprised to get a bIll. And when I called 10 minutes to finally get them to tell me what the bill was for. Also If I were given a perscription the druggest could have made a substitution that would only cost me a $ 5 co pay. But since I was never given a choice I dont feel I should be billed.
