In Jan. 2011 I was contacted by Anne Lebow, Equity Financial Services, stating that she had a buyer for my Wyndham Timeshare Points I wanted to sell. Said company had been in business for five years and matched buyers with sellers. After explaining that I would get the downpayment ($31,482) to be forfeited by the purchaser if we did not close in 90 days.
After considering the "idea" for a couple of days, I sent the requested $2190. To cover my share of expenses (title search, estopple letter, etc.) The first few weeks the company (EFS) did what they said they would do.
Long after 90 days, I cannot reach anyone by phone and no one will acknowledge my emails. I have contacted TV stations in Philadelphia (Wilmington coverage) and have contacted the DE Attorney General's office.
I am embarrassed that I fell for this scam and I am determined to get the people off the "streets" and hopefully behind bars.
Within a couple of hours after I sent an email to Brad Marshman on 4/14, I received a call from Red Line Funding (Michigan) with the exact same pitch - even the exact same words except the money they needed from a seller was a little higher - had to be the same group of people.
