Throughout my employment at Havenwyck Hospital the unknown humanity theory is an alarming reality that is an employment style that an individual must either subject the actions of a human for productive treatment or judge the individual. I have witnessed several events in the years I was an excellent employee focused on patient care, encouraging patients life is possible to live.
On September 2 I was a witness that changed my view of the mission statement the employer I was working for posed to the world. I entered a patients room to a staff member restricting a patients airway applying pressure each time the patient refused to listen to the staff as he commanded the patient either you get your blood drawn or you will learn the hard way. The fact that the staff member was threatening a patients air to breath as an option if he did not get his blood drawn is not normal.
The staff member was fired for a single man management which is his second termination from Havenwyck Hospital after he was terminated from the Residential Unit after attacking a young girl as he commanded the minor to get off the workout equipment she was on or he will make her. I do not believe the double jeopardy theory is a safe haven in the mental health field. I believe a criminal is still working in the Mental Health Hospitals as he is enabled by Havenwyck Hospital and now employed at St. Johns Hospital in Pontiac because his mommy works in upper management at Havenwyck Hospital.
I did provide my witness statement to Director of Nursing Jane lozen, Clinical Social Worker Carol Polley, Unit Manager Debbie H, and PCSS Supervisor Torri Robinson who used a statement as a tool to cover up a criminal act. Debbie H. My unit supervisor, stated, "This will create a law suit, attract media, and the company merge will be denied causing job loss. I also contacted Suzanne Dennis who refused any comment on the abuse case that Amber Davis who is patient advocate also stated the incident is not in her area because of the physical abuse which is supposed to be reported to local authority.
A Mental Health Hospital that is allowed to frame a criminal with a gold star and abuse a mental health patient of his rights as a human to restrict media attention, or a law suit should not be controlled as it is. Combative environment is an understatement to the crime that Havenwyck Hospital allowed on September 2 to a high functioning autistic male that does remember the incident who was put on the adult unit to restrict same age bullying which was a treatment plan trigger, as his age allowed treatment on the child inpatient unit.
