I went to modesto mitsubhi last dec. 31 to look around and maybe buy a new car, we found the mitsubihi outlander my wife she really likes it. So we sat down and negotiate the price. The sales guy ask me if we have a trade in I said yes so he took all the info of the car and the balance which is $13,350 which I still owe in my old car. And then we negotiate but some reason they asking me to puut a down payment of $5,000 which is i can't afford I told them forget it. So we walk away and the deal was off.
The next day on jan. 1 around 5:30 PM the sale guy called as back and he said okay we have good deal for you why don't you come over and let's make a deal, So we went out there with my wife, and it end by putting down of $2,000 plus they will keep the rebate of $2,000 from the factory which is not bad. So they took my old car as trade in and they said that they will pay it off. Guess what after a week they called me they told me that they ca'nt pay it off my old car because i still owe them $634.00 I was shocked and mad they tricked as when I sign the trade in paper work I ask the finance manager how come your just paying $ 12,888 intead of 13,334 which I still owe the bank and the finance manager said oh don't worry we already called them and they gave us discount, that's why it end up $12,888 so I trust the guy but unfortunately after na week they called me and asking for another $634.00 to pay it off my old car, so from jan. 1 until now they haven't pay off my old car which they have it already.
I just got my new statement from the bank that I had a past due amount plus the finance charge. Is there anybody can help me what to do. Please!!!
