On Wednesday, April 13th I was falsely accused of stealing socks from JCPenney. I was escorted to a back "security area."
The JC Penney staff then proceeded to rifle through my purse, and help themselves to my belongings, claiming that they too, must also be stolen. They confiscated various cosmetic items:
Two used lipsticks
Two used eyeliner pencils
One half-empty spray bottle of "Garden of Eva" perfume.
More importantly at that time, they also "confiscated" (stole) four wristlets from Coach's "Poppy" line that JC Penneys does not even carry. "A Pepper phone case, " "a Pinky wristlet, " a "violette" wristlet and a "Pink Tartan wristlet."
They made no secret or attempt to hide the theft of my belongings. I am seeking to take legal action for the theft of my personal belongings. (Which I have receipts for.)
