I received a notice that my balance would be billed over 27% in interest each month for going over the limit set back in 2008. Although I have made payments each month when due, it was deemed to penalized me instead of offering to increase the limit as it was obvious I was a loyal patron. Seems if I have gone over the limit 20 times, someone would have notified me earlier to offer an option since it was obvious I was a regular user of the card and making payments each month. I talked with customer service and mentioned this suggestion, but was not offered as some of my payments were the minimum amount. I am just surprised that my PETRO company refused to be accommodating, It was obvious my business meant nothing. What should have happened in that situation? As it turned out I cancelled my account and cut up my card as the representative indicated my business was not valued.
I am really upset about how this encounter was handled. Had I been a customer causing trouble by not paying I would understand the dismissal and explanation that they would not work with customers or their attempt in good faith.
I would like an explanation of why I am not worthy of my request. And, yes, I was angered at what happened. Without a warning, without regard that I was a loyal customer. Thank you
