I enrolled with ash worth college online. I did not pay no money to them yet it was posted dated off my debit at the end of month. I was undecided if I should go to school yet. So I called them to cancel. The person I talk to said that since I didn't pay anything yet I was in the clear. I dont have nothing to worry about. He said I have a temporary account since I didn't pay anything I'm not enrolled at the college. So I left it at that and then 2 months later I get a call from collections saying that I owe $800.00 to ash worth college.
Keep in mind I didn't get anything from them no books etc. I talk with collections they say that they are going to take me to court and can and will garnish my checks. She said they have a cancellation fee but how is this possible when I never paid anything to start with. This college needs to be stopped they are falsifying cancellation and waiting after months to tell u there is a fee so they can gain intrusts off you. They are a scam!!! And deserve to be punished.
