Showing ID for beer at Wal-Mart - complaint

I was just in Wal-Mart tonight and as tried to purchase beer. I will be 52 yrs. Old next month. The cashier asked to see my id and I held up my wallet that showed my drivers license in the wallet "window" id. It clearly showed my birthday.
She told me that I had to take it out of my wallet. I could not do this because I have a handicap. Since this Wal-mart has been here in Ohio, I've been asked for my ID perhaps 3 times. I don't have a problem with asking to see my ID, but stating that I have to take it from my wallet goes beyond the norm. I know that I am not the only person who has only use of one arm and I'm sure I'm not the only person who has a wallet where your drivers license fits so tightly that it is an exercise in futility to try to get it out (I actually had to have someone cut it out of my last wallet).

Since I am on the subject, one of the times that I purchased beer, I was reprimanded by the cashier who actually yelled at me and said that I would never buy beer again in Wal-Mart if someone other than me put in on the belt. My son was of age and I being in a wheel chair had just a "tad bit" of diffculty reaching into my cart to put my items on the belt.
Wal-Mart needs to have a specific policy for buying alcohol. Every single place in this town has an ID policy no matter what age you are, but none refuse to sell it because you can't get it out of your wallet.

Digusted with Wal-Mart once again in Gallipolis.
