I have been communicating with Ms. Miller since early October trying to get a mortage modification, which I was encouraged to pursue. I have sent many documents by certified mail and regulalr mail - the same information again and again. I have called many times for update and no response or give another number to call; to which I was give another number to call and so forth. I was advised not to pay my mortgage for 3 months, January, February & March to pay down my credit card debt. I had already paid the January mortgage and called them to see if this made a difference and should I not pay March also. No response. I was advised I would be placed on a "bounce back program" that after 60 days I would be advised whether I was accepted to the program. Also my credit report would be placed on hold and I would not be placed in foreclosure. If I don't pay for 3 months and am not accepted, and use the money to pay off credit cards, I will not have the funds to repay the 3 months, and ultimately lose my home. I cannot get anyone to return my requests for updates. I don't want foreclosure. My last round of calls were to 3 people in the local office who did not have a clue what had progressed to this point or any knowledge of my circumstances. Ultimately, I was given the number of the "refinance dept." I don't want to refinance. I want a mortgage modification as I was promised.
