I would love to know why it is so damn important to get the Natural History Musuem at a cost of about 20 million dollars in Tupper Lake when the citizens of this small community don't even have a store to buy a DECENT pair of underwear. We need a department store not a musuem. I see what the bureaucrats are thinking let's make Tupper Lake a tourist community like Lake Placid. Hah, hah, I find that laughable, we can't even keep our Big Tupper mountain open.
Even our radio station had to be rescued by the Lake Placid radio station. The leaders of our community and founding fathers would love for Tupper Lake to be a playground for the rich. Well, I will be waiting for a response on my question "why a musuem and not a department store?".in all reality what is a musuem going to do for the people here? Not promote business thats for sure. I see Tupper Lake basically being driven into the ground by the so called leaders.
All you have to do is look at all the businesses that have closed down because of failure, look at the properties for sale, look at the buildings that are abandoned and quickly being torn down to distract people from noticing how many there are. Tupper Lake is in big trouble and needs smart people to bring it back to where it rightly belongs. I love Tupper Lake but it's some of the people in it that need to be filtered out.
