I ordered a pair of shoes on the piperlime.com website on a Tuesday evening. However, the order wasn't processed until the following week, thereby delaying the delivery of the shoes even longer (I'd ordered them for a wedding two weeks hence). Since I did not receive an email stating that the order was being processed or a even a cause for the delay, I contacted the "customer service" line. Although the woman who answered was semi-professional, I was told that although the item was in-stock, they had to confirm with my bank and that I'd just "have to wait."
I received the "your order has been processed" email the following day (7 full days from placing the order).
The same day, I ordered merchandise from the Victoria's Secret website, which was authorized, processed and shipped in the time that it took piperlime.com to just process my order.
Next time, I'll just "wait and go to zappos.com". Thanks piperlime. Cheers.
