A dolly of discounted window treatments were on the floor with yellow tags/several did not have them. Ask sales person if all were a sale discount. Sales person ask store manager for help. The manager 'Joe' stated they were not and the regular price was 130 per blind. A store employee also as waiting and she states she only wanted two and if i wanted one she was not upset. At the given price of 'Joe' i declined and did purchase a light switch. When i made it home i noticed the switch was not the proper one. I returned in less than an hour to find the switch and thought i would see if the blinds were still there. They were and ask a new clerk if they were discounted again and she responded that she discounted them to 30 dollars but they were all sold. I ask if the store employee bought them (her co-worker) and she said she was not sure! I went to store manager "Joe"and ask to speak in a private area with a complaint. Joe stated loudly to say what i had to openly and he did not care who heard. I stated Lowes sold the merchandise to the own employee at an unfair advantage. Joe stated he was unaware the employee whom received the blinds was right there and "Joe" requested the department person give myself one at the 30 price. He raised his voice and stated i always ask for a price break in front of the public as well as many store employee. I notified the main office about the practice and how this has been going on for some time with myself. They did call me but nothing has been done so far. They did say this was a large problem and may be dealt with to my satisfaction. This has happen several times before but i could never prove it.
