Clara Troyer and her husband Andy Troyer sells ponies and horses in Millersburg, Ohio. She is ex-Amish and comes off like a sweet old lady but don't let her fool you. She claims that her animals come from local farms but that's not true. She buys them at the Mt. Hope and Sugar Creek sales. Often times she sells them the same day she buys them reporting that they are kid safe, healthy, and having good tempermants.
She advertises on the internet with I bought three such animals from her, two ponies and one horse. The two ponies I had to donate them to someone because of poor health and bad tempermant. The horse came off the trailer with two leg injuries. She talks about a guarantee but she doesn't offer any money back. Do not buy from her. If you want to take your chances at the sale buy there yourself and save 500 bucks.
