Fabrication of HVAC in order to further negotiate price two days prior to close

On Feb. 1 Ms. Chu, a buyer's real estate agent, brought in Mr. Loesch, an HVAC tech.into our home claiming he was a carpenter who needed measurements for the future owners.instead they tore into one of the HVAC units trying to find a leak. Ms. Chu then helped Mr. Loesch write up an 'analysis and bid for service' using old Home Inspection Reports to make it appear that my wife and I had been negligent about the up-keep of the units and misleading to the buyers. They wanted us to present the new buyers with a check for $2,000.00 at close three days later. I then contacted our preferred HVAC company, who had installed a new coil on this same unit two years prior, about the problem. He expressed amazement that the AC could be tested on a day when it was 28 degrees in Houston but never-the-less offered to meet with Mr. Loesch at the property so he could point out the leak and our HVAC company would fix it (since the coil is still under warranty). This suggestion was ignored. I requested from Mr. Loesch, in writing, that he did not in fact find an actual leak (as he indicated to me on the phone) but so far he has declined.

Upon leaving my house Mr. Loesch didn't even bother to re-seal the condenser coil housing.

Just a hunch, but it feels like the buyer's agent is trying to extort a little more money at close and is using Mr. Loesch's faulty report as the tool.
