Poor Customer Service

On 2/19, at approximately 3pm, I was shopping at Fry's Electronics (Store #20 - 3035 W. Thunderbird Rd., Phoenix AZ). I was there to purchase an A/V receiver, a subwoofer, a LCD monitor, and a wireless mouse and keyboard.

I needed to get help from the Audio / Video department for a price match guarantee. Despite the fact there were 6 employees and one supervisor (Mike Craft) standing at the service desk, not one person asked if we needed assistance. There was one customer (a couple) being helped by one of the employees, but the rest would not even make eye contact. We waited for 10 minutes before finally asking for help.

While we were being helped, another employee walked up to me and asked if I needed assistance. I thanked him (loudly) and told him that at least someone had some customer service skills. The supervisor (Mike Craft) must have taken offense to my statement, because I saw him a short time later criticizing the employee who was trying to help us (on an unrelated matter).

To add insult to injury...

When checking out, my wife ran ahead of me to get the car (it was pouring rain), but she mistakenly took the receipt with her. Even though the receipt checker at the door could see that I just came from the registers (with large items)... She treated me as though I were a common thief.

I will not likely shop at that Fry's Electronics again. The employees are unprofessional... Avoid eye contact... They mumble... They're rude... And Mike Craft? He should be fired.
