Columbia gas is having a subcontractor replace all the gas lines and meters to all the houses on our street. I had scheduled them to do mine on Thursday the 13th and gave the subcontractor my # incase anything changes. They did my neighbors instead and never called. Friday nothing. Monday I get a call from a neighbor that the subcontractor was doing my line and my neighbor asked if anyone needed to be there. They said no! Monday night I get a call saying that there is no meter on my house... Oh did I mention that I've been remodeling my house and dont actually live there. And socalled subcontractor knows this! Ontop of which at the time of them doing this I'm out of town! So I call and talk to Columbia gas and get the run around! That if someone can let them in they would send someone out! So my girlfriend flies home. Calls them to have them come out and get the well we will be there between 12-11pm! Are you kidding me!!! And they would call a half hour before! What kind of service is this! So the guy calls and says yeah I'm here where are you? What happened to the half hour! Columbia gas and their subcontractors are a joke! They hold us consumers hostage because what can we do about it! They are a monopoly!!
