I accepted an offer for a Vacation Package to Florida, paid for it, and when I went to book it, found out it was a time share sales thing. Never at any time during my conversation with the sales rep, Robert Carranza, did this get mentioned. I paid $248, which I wanted back. But of course, the selling company was nowhere to be found.
The reservations customer service line told me there was no way to reach Vacation Showroom. I persevered through call after call to any number I could find online or that I could get from CS clerks who were more cooperative. This process took several days of almost constant calling. I got the number for E-Commerce, was told that it was just another booking number for VS, and spoke to Kathy. She assured me that I would get my refund and she would get it to me "in about a week". I don't have it.
Now Kathy is using a dragon-like gatekeeper to screen her calls and will not call me back. She will not respond to my question, which is really simple: Where is my money and will I be getting it anytime soon? I found out that Vacation Showroom and E-commerce Systems are one and the same.
They also use other names; Bill It Online LLC, Take Me On Vacation.com, and Direct Reservation. I have faxed, called, written and left messages, but so far no response. I'm told I'll get a call back, but I never do. Save your money! Do not give it to these people!
