I am writing about my experience only. I joined TakeYourPet.com many years ago and last used their online services 18 months ago. I have not received any of their email newsletters for as long as I can remember. I decided to terminate my membership over a year ago and first tried calling them on the phone (4-5 times over several days). They never answered the phone. Over a year ago, I wrote them several letters to terminate my membership. They never responded. Over a year ago, I sent them faxes to terminate my membership. They never responded. Over a year ago, I sent them emails to terminate my membership. They never responded.
They charged my credit card a year ago for $29.90 for membership dues. I disputed the charges. They charged my credit card in December again for $29.90 for membership dues. I have disputed the charges. I have changed my credit card number with that credit card company in order to stop TakeYourPet.com from further charging my card.
I have decided it is impossible to terminate my membership with them when they refuse to respond to any of my requests. This complaint is written in January.
