Empire Land Sales called stating they had a buyer interested in my land. They offered a reasonable price that met other offers I had recieved but they already had a preapproved buyer. They stated they were a mutual party and I needed to pay 1/2 the processing fees in order to close.
At first I didnt just give them the information. I took their number and searched on line. I found that there is an Empire Land Sales company that works with Waste Management and that they were legit. So I called them back and gave the my banking information.
Later $1995.00 was withdrawn and I have not heard from them since. I tried calling but never got a return call and now the number is disconnected. I had an email but that doesnt work either.
I was to fight to get my money back but dont know how.
This is a scam... Hang up if you recieve this call.
