Was looking for a nice family dog for daughter to grow up with on petfinder.com. Found a yorkie and emailed this lady whom quickly responded with a full blown massive lie of how shes relocated and was going to transport this dog with transair cargo company for only $180. She claimed she wasnt looking to make money on the dog just pay for transportation. She sent me some questions to answer about how the dog would be taken care of and such. I answered her email and also added that I was weary of the transportation thing. As soon as I sent the email back to her I searched the cargo company and soon found out she was a scammer and ran up on this site and also searched it and all I found is that She, Kristy Beckersfield which is probably a fake name as well, has already scammed someone out of money for a Yorkie they thought they were getting. Good thing I went with my gut feeling!!! I cant believe at the scams people try over the internet. I was hoping to find a nice family pet for our baby girl to grow up with and now thanks to this scammer I will not be looking online for one. I will goto the shelters personally! This is terrible, she or whoever this person is needs to be traced down.
I answered all of her questions, told her our story of how our old dog died and all and now Im going to email back to this address and let them know I have reported them!!! Hopefully noone else gets scammed like this. Luckily, I didnt go send out the money in the morning and first realized there was something fishy about it all!

Her name is Berty and she is currently 12 weeks old and has up to date shots & vaccination. I am not out for money on this little girl, I am only in search for a home for her as I just relocated in a new home which turns out to be a non-pet apartment here in Tucson AZ being transferred due to the nature of my job. I also did inquire about the cost which I was told is $180. BERTY could as well be shipped to the nearest airport in your area (if you want) and you will be paying her transportation fee to the transport company just to assure you of where you are sending money for her delivery and it will only take about 5-7 hours for the BERTY to arrive your home.
