My spouse and I had gone to this very store maybe twice before and the service had been ok or so we thought. Today we seen a whole new outlook on this place. The assistant manager had the day off and at the time we arrived the district manager was there. Not just him but the others that work there had told us it has to say "Sterling or. 925" to be real and if it says STERLING then it is real. So the jewelry we took in today just about every piece said the word Sterling of sterling. 925. As the pieces was being tested it would leave a powder blue mark on the stone. That meant it was real. Some pieces we knew for a fact was real they insisted was not real. The district manager finally came to help test each piece again for his self. Even though some pieces left very small blue lines he kept saying this isnt and this I know just doesnt sound real and He said he I know its not. We seen the blue appear with each piece they tested. He telling us it must be a thin coating instead. The silver rate was real high at this time. It was $29.58 per ounce and they had not once told us this is just our rate we only pay 1/2 of that for your jewelry. We had a total of 6.08 ounces of pure sterling silver. So we are thinking we would do good with the silver rate up that much. If that was the case it would have been $179.85 but when everything was figured up he had the nerve to offer us $85. Oo for what we had. Well we was really upset about that and took our stuff else where. 3 other places also checked each piece and not the first one said fake. So If they dont want to loose alot of customers then something needs to be done about the smart ass district manager and let the customers know how much u really pay for their jewelry. They are more less ripping everyone off. U may cut out the middle man but u still are not giving what u should, its really not FAIR at all. This is 2 customers who will not be back.
