I responded to an ad on Craigslist to represent Quizno's in Spokane, Washington. I was contracted to pass out coupons for 16 hours over the course of 2 weeks. I was contracted at a rate of 23/hr and my partner was contracted for 16 hours at a rate of 18/hr. I completed this event in August. I documented my work with pictures and event reports that were sent in as per the contractual agreement I signed before starting work for the company. I have not been paid for this event and neither has my partner. The company, when we can get in touch with them, has given me a different excuse each time about why they can't pay me. First it was, 'You should have the checks in 8-10 weeks.' Then it was that they were 'waiting for someone in London to come over and cut the checks.' Now they just plain refuse to return my calls and emails.in doing some research I found at least 20 other people out there across the country that have also been stiffed by this company. I have notified Quizno's, and the New York Department of Labor. This company is committing fraud by charging Quizno's for marketing and then not paying the people actually doing the work. Stay away from them and their illicit services.
