On November, 16 I got word by one of my co-workers, that my truck is being towed. I ran out side to see what was going on, and the tow guy said. "This is a repo from my finance company." I left work early so I can call them to find out why my truck is being repoed. When I got in touch with the repo department, the guy on the line told my account was delinquent. He said they received a late payment on Nov. 2 but I still ow money on past payments. I told him I never receive no notice saying I owned any past payments, he replied that they sent me notification, called my job, and him & his supervisor left me messages on my phone.
I explain to him if they was to call my job they will relay the message to me. The only letter I have received from United was my regular bill, and I have lost my phone a long time ago and I have a new number. He said they tried to get in contact with me and all I did was ignore there contacts. When I told him the only contact we ever had was you guys sending me my next payment letter, why haven't you sent me a letter stating I owned you payments. He said they mailed me two letters and got no responds. I told him do he have the right address because I've never received not one letter. His reply was "thats just the way things goes".
After I paid them what I own them I had to pay the people that took my truck.$325 plus $25 a day. I called the company they told the bill and address. When I went there to pick up my truck I paid them and they didn't have change, so they own me $1 and I want my change!
And to add on Nov. 20 I've received a postal slip for a certified letter, from United Consumer Finance, is it my Past due notification letters I haven't receive.
