I saw something about Bransom on the internet yesterday. At dinner time I was called by somebody from Wyndam in Bransom and was told about a deal which I agreed to and gave them a credit card number. My wife contacted a friend of ours and asked if they'd like to join us but was told they'd been there previously and since my wife is handicapped she'd have trouble getting around so she decided we should cancel. I called an 800 number they gave me early this A.M. And told them we wanted to cancel, but was told they have a no cancellation policy. I have no recollection of being told this but they said its part of what they tell everyone. They cancelled the date, but said they would not cancel what they put on my credit card as they tell everybody there is no canceling. I have no recollection of being told thi and if I had been told this I would have told them thanks, but no thanks. They claim they tell everyone this but that says to me they are running some kind of scam, because since they were told less than 24 hours after if they were a ligitimous concern they would work this way. They were not inconvenienced in any way and immediately cancelled the date so they can use it for someone else, so why won't they cancel the charge? Most places might have a time frame for cancellations, but they never mentioned anything like this. If they mentioned no cancellation they must have done it in such a minor way that I never heard it..
