I use the Selinsgrove Pa. United States Postal Service office as much as 2 or 3 times a week. I ship ebay packages. So many times people will take the time to complain but will not take the time to commend. The men and women on duty for service in this particular office are upstanding, honest, friendly, helpful, courteous and are willing to spend time to make each postage not only correct but the best for my money service. They offer that small town special ingredient that will keep me coming back even if the competition offers better services. They arent just robots in a big machine. They are still resilient enough to offer personal touch shipping by offering various information tidbits that help me make could good choices. I am always sorry to hear reports about the upper management not appreciating this sort of service. They do their job well and do it without being a pain in the butt by always following to the line procedure. I dont need to be asked the same questions day after day. I already know them by heart as if I were an employee. They offer me the respect of accepting that I do have some semblance of comprehension of what I want to purchase and whether the contents of my packages are safe. If it was up to the management, this respect would be pulled and they would continue like repeating annoyances to spout the rules over and over and over again to me. Please honor these workers who have not only put in their time and done a great job, but who have also managed to keep that kind good neighbor attitude that means soooo much. Do not destroy personal service with over ambitious mechanics.
