On 10/22/10, I made a payment online for my husband's probation. Shortly thereafter, I checked my bank account and saw the funds had been withdrawn twice. I contacted J Pay and was told this was due to a failed authorization and the funds would be released within 2 days. Low and behold, the funds still have not been released. I contacted J Pay again today. After sitting on hold for 17 minutes I was told by a very rude rep that their business office would have to fax a release to my bank, which would take another 2 business days. I explained to her that I was told the funds would be automatically released in that same time period 2 days ago. She then told me that this is their policy, it's the website's fault the first authorization failed not theirs blah blah blah. Who knows when I'll get my money back. Not very confident at this point.
