It seems that you are compromising the rugged spirit of the Maine outdoors by offering more of an urban line of imported clothing. I remember Eddie Bauer and Bannana Republic and even the Gap softened it's edges this way and it lost them many customers. Me included. LL Bean used to be unique and not just a clone of other catalogue houses. While I realize that imports are a fact of life and more Americans live in urban settings isn't there a way to toughen up and bring back the Maine charm of rugged clothing not made in China?
