Liberty Church is a CULT

I had the worst experience of my life involving this church. Trust me, if you're considering visiting this church, you need to read this first.in the summer of I met a friend named David Grodd at Young Life Camp in Georgia, and after a falling out with his parents, I let him move in with me. I paid for his rent and all of his food, ect, for four months! Towards the end of the summer, David made up with his parents and I became close to them as well. Their names are Lynda and Alan Grodd. Lynda being the financial director of Liberty Church at the end of the summer, I lost my job, and I knew I needed to become stronger in my relationship with God.in a conversation with Lynda Grodd, I was invited to come live with a family from Liberty Church, rent free until I found a job, similar to what I had done for her son. So, I uprooted my life and moved to marietta. A week after I got there, lynda sent me an email that said if I didn't find a job in a week, I would have to move out. I was stunned! But I worked hard, and managed to find a job. I also went to the library and applied at a local college. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I'm very peaceful to live with. And I was going to church weekly to get closer to God. One morning, a month after I moved in, I walked downstairs to find the family I lived with, along with the Grodds, sitting in a circle saying we needed to talk. They told me that they didn't feel like this was working out, and that I needed to find somewhere else to live. When I asked why, they said they thought of me as someone who was "on fire with gods love", when in reality I was "lukewarm". Of course I was lukewarm! I was struggling. That was when I needed them the most. But, it is their house. I was getting paid in six days, so I asked if I could stay until I got paid so I could buy my plane ticket back home. They said no. I was broke, and I knew nobody in the state. So, I asked a neighbor (also from Liberty Church) what I should do, and they told me they had no advice, and that I needed to leave their porch. So the grodds made me pack, called me "satan", and put me on the streets in the rain, where I had nobody. I walked to a motel where I slept in the laundry room for a night. The next day, a prostitute asked me what my story was, and started crying when I told her what had happened. She took me up to her motel room, and let me sleep on the floor next to her bed for five nights, until I got paid and flew back home. Three issues I have. A.) I supported her son for four months, and I never would have put him on the streets. We're supposed to be CHRISTIANS. B.) the grodds could have given me warning. It's not Christ like to put someone on the streets and abandon them without warning. And nobody else in the church wanted to help me either. -and for my main issue: c.) why did a prostitue help me more than Lynda Grodd, the financial director for Liberty Church? My life is great now. I moved to California, am in college, have a good job, and a network of people who would never hurt me the way the members of Liberty Church did. I'm not writing here to "play the victim". I'm not writing here out of spite. I'm simply writing here, because I am no longer a Christian. My relationship with God was fragile, and Liberty church could have helped me fix it. But they didn't. The put me on the street. And for that, I hope each and every person involved in what happened to me rots in hell. Because when a prostitute is more "Christ Like" that the financial director of a church. Something is wrong.
