So far I have had no problem with the Aqua Globe. It has watered my plants as I have expected. The rate at which the globe has needed refills has varied from plant to plant as well as based on the size of planter being watered. The globe's tube opening can become clogs on occasion but has been only a minor inconvenience that has been easily remedied. I find that they are do not become clogged that often so long as they are not simply jammed into the dirt. The sun magnification issue causing a potential fire hazard that others have reported about is quite alarming and one I had not considered. Fortunately I am watering plants that mostly out of direct sunlight and are not in such a precarious location as to create such a circumstance.
The only thing I would like to know is the amount of water held in the normal sized Aqua Globes as opposed to the Mini-Aqua Globes. Do the normal sized globes hold more than the mini-globes or is the difference between the two sizes merely a difference in the length of the tube?
