This company told me it was $400 for the major tune up (95,000) miles. I fugured they must have a lot to do. So I said okay. Then I needed brakes and they said it would be $320 for the front brakes.
When all was said and done... The materials used for everything was $299, the balance of everything they did was $500 labor. $170 hr rate.
That was not told to me up front. I found out the tune up was changing the spark plugs... Thats all they did and charged me $300 labor.
The also said I needed to replace belts, caps and wires and do the timing belt for an additional $2200. I said no and found a local small shop who did a great job on the $2200 work order Nissan of Buena Park would have charged me... For only $730.
NEVER do your repairs at a dealer. I learned my lesson.
