After learning that a neighbor signed a home loan with the stipulation that he live in the home for at least one year, I tried to report to the loan holder Wells Fargo, that this man has never occupied the residence and it was never used as his primary residence per the terms of the loan. One would think that a lender would act on such information because the homeowner has committed a fraud against the lender. I have exhausted all avenues I know to report this abuse. My calls have fallen on deaf ears, not one message I’ve left has been returned. The problem is this man ran for a directorship for our homeowner association board of directors, yet he does not reside here and never has resided here. His pattern of fraud disturbs me and fellow owners as he is making decisions and voting on matters that directly affect our way of life, property values and salability of our homes. Typically in the past when we foresee problems with association homeowners, we will direct those concerns to the holder of the first mortgage loan.in the case of this fraudulent owner we cannot get Wells Fargo to respond to our calls. We would like to perhaps begin legal action against this individual before something serious happens.
