My neighbor showed me the letter she received from Award Payment Data Release Div. Asking for $19.99 because she had won $1.4 Million Dollars. I told her it was a scam because they were asking for money. She said she was leary but wanted me to check it out; she has trouble deciphering these things some times.
So I did a search and sure enough up pops the complaint. I'm going to go back and show her online. At least she asked me before sending in the $19.99.
Funny how many OTHER people have won the same amount of money. I also pointed out to her on the envelope that it came in that it was an AUTO SORT which told me it was a mass mailing.
