Complaint / Review
Armando Montelongo - Flip And Grow Rich
Bogus $69 per month fees-Beware

1. Ordered onlline the "Flip and Grow Rich" book in January. The company didn't even use a secure sever for the Credit Card purchase... A red flag went up but I ordered anyway, since I felt he was credible from his TV show on A&E.
2. No receipt, thank you, or any form of email communication was sent upon the order.
3. I Did receive the ordered materials within 10 business days, which was satisfactory service.
4.inundated with phone calls under the pretense of becoming a "select or special" training, asking for an additional investment of around $5500 for "training" Told Telemarketer (which is what he is albeit he insisted dozens of times he was not) that I hadn't even reviewed the materials.
5. Calls a week later with "exciting news" about how excited Armando was about me and that his top senior executive wished to set up an appointment with me. When asked about additional cost... It had been discounted to $3500 with a "triple money back guarantee"... I declined any and all additional costs.
6. Telemarketer told me to enjoy m "free training materials" and that when I have trouble or are "ready to make something of yourself" to contact him... Even months from now.
7. Armando Monteblondo then started charging my credit card $69.97 in March and has continued to do so through this date.
8. Received an email from [email protected] a non existant website informing me that my credit card had been denied. I immediately checked my CC statements to find all these charges. The completely non-professonal customer service rep at 1 866 216-6510 read off some legal jargon claiming that I owed 3 more payments and that I was legally responsible for these. I disputed this and she said we could settle on the upcoming payments and asked for a new credit card. I refused and I stated that if they did not want to discuss this in good faith, she left me no choice but to dispute the charges with my credit card company. She went on to reply that I would face legal action.
The marketing materials sent appear to legit. However, no matter how softly the materials are worded, the keys to success are founded by preying on people who are vulnerable.
Also be advised that there is no contact information on any of numerous websites operated by Armando Monteblondo.
