After many days of hearing on the radio about Armando Montelongos flip this house home course " FREE" I decide to call. I spoke with someone from their office and I was told I could try the home course for a month for free, but i would have to pay the 9.95 shipping charges, I agreed and asked what if I didn't want to kee the course. The operator told me to call and a number (which she gave me over the phone) and get a return confirmation code.
A week later I received a box from Armando Montelong, in it there was a paper explaining the course and a number to call if I wanted to return the materials within 30 days.
After reading the materials after four days, i realize that this wasn't for me (not suggesting that it isn't a good product, it just isn't a good product for me". Second week of receiving the materials, I called the number to get a return confirmation, never got a call back. I had a friend witness the second call and a message stating that I wanted a return confirmation number. Again no one called back. Another week went by and I had yet another friend witness another call asking for a confirmation number. Three days later, i received a message to call a number to get a confirmation, when i called an hour later, no one answer the phone and I was told to leave a message and someone would get back to me, but no one did. Two days later I called again and left another message, again no one called back, the 30 days are almost up. I sent them an e mail, no one responded.
47 days after I received the materials I got a message from their office stating " congratulation for purchacing Armando Montelongos Flip this house home course" I called the number showing on my caller ID, was told to leave a message, which I did but no one return my call.
Sometime in January, I sent Armando Montelongo a email explaining my complaint, 6 days later someone send me an e mail stating that I should call a rep that handles all phone sales, when I did, turned out to be a credit card company and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about, just to be on the safe side, I sent that person an e mail (no response). Also in January, I received a letter from a collection agency demanding payment (NAR collections) and if i contested the debt to respond by writing within 30 days or they would assume the debt is valid, I responded the same day, by writing them a letter explaining the situation.
Feb. 11 i sent Armando Montelongo an e mail explaining the situation and how I felt that their offer was miss-leading and told them that if they took any founds from my account it would be an unauthorized transaction, I would think that would be fraud and I would seek legal action against them. On Feb 14th, I received a message from someone named Linda (1800-771-6593) asking for me to call her so that we can resolve this matter. I called back, waited 28 minutes and all I got was a message " There are 0 customers ahead of you, your waiting time is 1 minute" this message played over and over again, after 28 minutes, I just gave up. Also on Feb 14th, I received another letter from NAR collections demanding payment, this after I responded to their first letter (Can't understand why they would say to write them if I contested the debt if they they are not interested in the other side of the story).
Clearly this is a rip off, i have done everything possible to return the materials, but they had no intentions of honoring their offer.
