Book I received 2 times, printed wrong and is unreadable

I ordered Armando & Veronica Montelongo's new book Flip and Grow Rich. It took weeks to get and finally one Friday there it was. I was stunned however, when I got into the book to find that it was not printed properly.

The left side of the book was about 1 thing while the right page was something entirely different. If a paragraph wasn't completed on the left side, instead of being able to go to the right page and complete reading it, you instead have to turn the right page and complete reading the paragraph you had been reading, on another right page.

I called a number in the back of the book and was told they had nothing to do with this book and since I ordered it from the internet, to contact whomever through the web site.

Merlin, whom I just read about in someone elses complain, responded days later and had me send the book back at my own expense. I began contacting Merlin after a week to be certain UPS had delivered the original book, and began asking when my new, correct book would arrive. It took over 3 weeks to get the new book after also being sent incorrect or bogus tracking numbers.

I received the 2nd book last Friday and excited, opened it to find this book too, was published incorrectly and unreadable. I spent several hours attempting to locate someone with no avail.

Monday, yesterday, I contacted the San Antonio Mayor's office and was transfered to the City Attorney's office. I was given 3 phone numbers to whom we thought was Armando's office. 1 number was disconnected, the other rang and rang with no answer, and the 3rd number turned out to be Armando's brother David's office. David's secretary or whomever I spoke with told me Armando and David hadn't spoken to each other in over 1 1/2 years and they had no idea where he was or what his phone number was.

I called the City Attorney's office back and they referred me to the Attorney General of Texas. I was told to get on line and file a complaint which I did.

I have written Merlin several times, expecting a response Monday, but have not received anything.

I recalled the phone number in the back of the book, and customer service forwarded me to a woman named Helen. I spoke to her once before and left a voice mail this time. Mid-afternoon a young woman called saying Helen asked her to contact me and that they were certain Armando had no idea the book coming to me from the Torrance location was misprinted.

And by the way, Helen is in Salt Lake City and her "company" ships books out of Van Nuys CA. The lady I spoke with said she has read the book and hers was not printed incorrectly.

I fear Armando and Veronica became wealthy too quickly and are spiriling downward now which is sad, but a good lesson if they wake up and realize they need help.

In the meantime, this worthless book has cost me $29.95 plus shipping plus an additional $8.50 approx to return the 1st book.

I noticed in doing a search to locate Armando that others too cannot find any phone numbers. I finally have written a note to A&E Television explaining the problem but whether they want any responsibility is questionable.
