These are the most tenacious scam artists I've ever encountered. They've been bugging me for 8 months for payment of $414 for their "Corporate Telecom Directory" that I did not want and tried to refuse.in their "recording" it is very obvious that I am extraordinarly irritated... Because they had called me 4 times that day in the span of an hour. On another occassion, Mike Albert called me 5 times in 5 minutes. After the first call, I just hung up after that. Their call center operation is in Montreal and the Chesapeake Beach, MD address is just a mail drop.
I have iron-clad proof that NBIE is linked to both National Info-Tech Centre and International Business Index that was run by John Ngyuen, et al out of Winnipeg. The latter two have been shut down I believe as the RCMP charged NITC and four of its executives with fraud in excess of $5,000. Obviously that didn't stop them. They just moved their scam to Montreal. I have heard the NY AG's office is planning action against NBIE. I have reported NBIE to the FTC, the Internet Fraud Complaint Center, Phonebusters, the US BBB, and the Canadian Competition Bureau. And I have been in contact with the RCMP and the FBI. I can hardly wait until the authorities close in, close them down and put the principals in the "cross-bar hotel."
