It is 8:20pm on June 1st and my gas service has been off since 05/27/10 by no fault of mine. They didn't leave a tag a note saying they turned it off or anything. I went to their office this morning because I know and had proof that my bill was not behind. Only to find out that they set up a new account under my name and they never informed me about it and they never closed the old account so everytime i made a payment they posted it to my old account. The best part is I didn't even know it was off until Saturday when I had to call them because I had 8 cakes to make for a catering job and my oven wouldn't come on. So i'm told by Ms Reaves in the office no one can come out until tomorrow June 2 and of course i'm not happy with that and ask to speak with a supervisor and she says there are none on staff at that office I will have to call in. So I call in and was told one would call me back. So Mr Leavy calls me back and says what time will you be home and I told him 4:30 and he says we will have someone there this evening after 4:30. So 6 rolls around still no PGW I call back speak with Ms Brown she says they can come anytime after 4:30I ask to speak to a supervisor she says Mr Leavy is gone and the other supervisor Mr Mcall is on the phone but he will call me back. He never calls I try back at 6:30 they are closed. I go through the emergency line and speak with Pam who also says no supervisors work this time of night but i am in the system to have someone come out this evening but she can't provide a time. I receive a call from them at 8:00 exactly it's a man with a strong Island accent i think his name is Mr Avisi he say you are on the schedule for tomorrow after 11. I explain to him no i'm not this is PGW'S screw up i have been told by more than 3 people including a supervisor someone was coming today and I want my service on today. Now he says he will call me back he needs to look into it. It is now 8:41 and I haven't heard from anyone. I'm not misssing any time at work for them to come out I have been inconvenienced and taking cold showers for the past 3 days. Is there anything I can do to this company? I sent a complaint to the PA UCC and haven't heard from them either. Thanks in advance for any advice or assistance you can provide.
