My grandson went to apply for a job at Rice Garden and was told by Paul Taylor that they didn't hire his kind. When my granson asked him what do you mean by my kind Mr. Taylor started shouting a convicted felon. Steve Wyglde a manager at Price Chopper (where the restaurant is located) heard all that was being shouted out by Mr. Taylor and told him it was very unprofessional of him. Chris Lord an employee of Rice Garden also said he would write out a statement attesting to the fact that Mr Taylor was at fault for shouting at my grandson for no good reason. Now today April 23 my daughter was given a paper by security for this incident and told she would be arrested for criminal trespassing and made to leave the store. I was told our family was not allowed in Rice Garden and want to file a complaint against the company. My husband and I are both ordainded ministers and have ministered for Los Angeles County Probation for over 18 years. We have just recently moved to Leavenworth and are shocked at the treatment of our kind here in Leavenworth.
