Mis-Handling Customer Accounts On Flex Pay Plan

I signed an agreement with T - Mobile for a " flex pay account ". Under this program, you will improve a less than perfect credit rating by having a good pay history with T-Mobile. This contract was for two years. I had no problems with my payments being made on time in the beginning. I made continuous checks on my pay history. I made every effort to make my payments. I was told I had an excellent payment historywith T - Mobile. The problems began in the end of my contract. I still kept track of my payment history and paid my account on time. When I inquired in January about changing from " flex pay "to a regular post - pay account I was told to wait until thirty daysbefore my contract was to end and then switch. I was then toldI would have no problems because I had an excellent pay historywith T-Mobile. I was to wait to avoid having to pay early cancellation fees.

However, that was not the case come sixty days and thirty days before the end of my contract.instead I was told my accounthad been suspended three times and I was not eligible to switch. According to T-Mobile my account at one point was in collectionswhich I know is not true. I feel it is wrong and unfair to the american public to broadcast aproduct that you do not truthfully market. They should not use this kind of tactic on people. They used the fact I had poor creditand in order to get my business, lied and stated they would not have to check your credit again once you had an open account. I contacted the credit bureau and got a copy of my credit report and it shows they did indeed run another credit inquiry and usedit to deny me a regular post paid account. Something needs to be done about this. Is this not unfair trade with the public? When I contacted T-Mobile by phone I spoke to someone who would only give thier first name and I could not understand them as they spoke. I do not know if anyone else has has this or similar problems with them but they need to be stopped from using this type of practice. I am trying hard to rebuild my creditworthiness and understand that it takes time. Two year obligations are hard kept in todays society and I worked hard tokeep my end of the agreement. It is my duty to report this type of business. I don't know what the law state about this but it needs attention.
