I was looking for a place to rent. I found a house they were fixing on it was nice. It was priced at 795.00 a month. I said i will take it, he said that house was taken, and that he had another one just like it on the next street over. We came over to see the house, the house needed work. He said that he was going to replace the windows, the tile in the bathroom, replace stove and frig. And new ac unit, also put a washer and dryer out back and a privacy fence up. I agreed to take the house on his word that he was going to fix it. I asked him do he take section 8. He said yes then he asked me how much was my voucher, I said that it was for 1017.00. When he did the contract he put 1000.00 on there for rent when the house went for 795.00. So I thought the tent was covered because he put 1000.00 on the contract. He waited 3 months later to tell me I am behind on rent. I don't understand how when thehouse is 795.00 and he wrote me up for 1000.00. Paying the rent is no problem. But he needs to fix this house. The only thing that was done was the fence.
