First of all, I am not perfect and made mistakes as a young kid. But I do not deserve the treatment I have received from DCSE.
When I was younger I did not keep up with my child support, but for the past 7-10 years I have, but because of those few years when I was younger and between jobs I go behind. Well the money now has been coming out of my paycheck for a while (7 years from job at now). Recently I had to have back surgery (I work in the construction field) and was out of work for 2 months and thought that my benefits would be pay by my disability pay.
Well I was wrong, only my insurance is paid not my other deductibles are, so before I could contact DCSE to work something out they had already filed a lend against my joint savings I have with my girlfriend this account had right at 32,000 dollars, well I was behind on child support for 24,000 and some change. When I got the letter I wanted to pay the amount INSTEAD OF having a lend against my account, well DCSE SAID IT WAS TOO LATE nothing I could do I could not make payments and the money would be zapped out, Ok I was not happy with that but it was done and I am caught up and owe no schild support now because the kid is 19. Well this is way to easy for things to go this smooth. I thought it was over I thought they got the money that I owe nothing now. They receive the money on FEB 16 this is stated by the bank on by account even has the case number right next to the amount that was taken. But things did not go as smooth as they should have this should have been a closed book but Boy was I wrong terrible wrong.
Yesterday I receive a letter from DCSE who said that my Drivers License was going to be suspended, for none payment remind you I have a statement and letter from the bank the monies was forward to them on Feb 16. Well I called them today and they said they did not get the money that the lend against my account was release because I did not have enough money in account, well look at below what does this say:

As you can see above this is what I receive from the bank, before the money was taken out I had 31013.03, after the amount that is owed to them and the bank fee I was left in my joint savings only 6,174.91 I had more than enough I was in the plus when they took the money out. Not sure what is going on but the girl on the phone at DCSE said I now need to come in and pay 5% of the balance or the full amount and I have 30 days to do this until my drivers license is suspended.
You got to be joking you just stole almost 25,000 dollars out of my account tell me you did not receive where the bank said you did, and now I suppose to give you more. I don;t think so, what I am going to do is go by the bank advise what was told to me and see if they can tell me more information what happen to the 24833.12 that was taken out of my account, where did it go, if they said it was turn over to DCSE I may need to hired attorney to sort this out and help me through this I may file a lawsuit against them if it shows they did receive the funds but are saying the did not that could be some type of felony they could be charge with because they wrong and don't know what they are doing... They are causing problems that could have been handle so much better and efficient because they have been paid I have proof they have.
Instead I am told too much untruths, I think they have the money but do not know it. I don;t think they know what they are doing there yet why would any business release a lend on my account when the money is there, I have proof it was so not sure why that girl at DCSE said it was not, I think the state is trying to steal all my money and cause me lots of unnecessary grief, I will get to the bottom of this, because I have paid in full, and I go on my account activity on the web everyday, and the bank has not re-deposit the money that was taken out. I almost positive that girl does not know what she is talking about. Because she lied by saying I did not have enough to cover it I had more than enough to cover it and I have the proof I did. That's one thing I have I have proof they are lying about what was said.
I pray no one has to go through the grief I have gone through with DCSE. I made mistakes while I was young but as I got older I have learn from my mistakes and try to make them right and I have been making this mistake right for the last 10 years if not more. I had to have surgery and I misunderstood what deductions would be pay and what would not be, but DCSE came after me in 4 weeks my last child support payment was the last week of December that is what my work told me, instead of sending me a warning letter they send a hateful letter saying they are putting a lend against my joint account, and then after they got the money, they say they don;t have it and what me to pay more, what is wrong with this picture??? This is terrible treatment and mishandling of funds.
