Henry Cole acting on behalf of his Uncle Felix Jones contacted me via e-mail answering my add in the Commercial Truck Trader regarding the purchase of the tractor I had advertised there. He stated the price was ok and they would pay it however they would be sending $44,500.00 instead of the asking price of $35,000.00. This was to cover shipping and any other expenses required to get the vehicle to his Uncle. I was to send the $9500.00 to his shipper from the funds which were to be sent to me via a cashiers check. However the financial instrument they send to you is a fake check and there are no funds available. Henry Cole will call and ask that you send the $9500.00 while the cashiers check is clearing your bank so that "there is a smoothe transaction" and they don't have to wait for the shipper to get their money. If I had not investigated this scam I would have been out the $9500.00 but I was not born yesterday so they just wasted their time trying to scam me out of the money. This was a new scam on me however it was obvious that something was not right when they offered more moeny that the tractor price, trusted the buyer to send the remaining funds and the fact they were in the UK. Seller beware!!!
