This last month my Direct TV bill went up $25 - So I just called them to make sure this was right. They said my 12 month deal was up and I have to pay extra for the last 6 months. I was fine with this - I knew it would go up, but $25 seemed a little high. So next I asked them about my $200 deposit that I paid when I signed up - and you guessed it... It was not a deposit but a FEE! When I first signed up I asked them repeatedly that they were sure I would get this money back "Yes, Yes, Yes" they said. So I went and got my audio recorder, told them I was recording and had them say it once more.
I will be taking them to court even though it costs me $46 bucks.
They stole $200 from me... Please don't let it happen to you... At the very least do not give them any deposit no matter what they say!!
