On Jan. 8 2010 i received a call from Brain Stafford ext. 2214 a rep. From North City Loans telling me that I was aprroved for the loans amount of 8,000. Before I could received the loan via my checking account I had to send 495 due to my credit score I had to put insurance on the loan for 3months.
After the 495 was sent he told me I have to put another 3months of insurance on the loans. He told me that I would get the insurance money back after months. I sent another 496 to him he told me that the money would be in my account within 1 hour. The very next day I called and called no answer. I left many messages still no call back from him. Finally he called me to tell me that I have to pay the remaining closing fee which was 525 again I will get the money back after 3 months, so I did.
So 2 weeks went by no money no answer from Brain Stafford. I post this rip-off on another website, somebody from that website gave me the new number. I called the number and spoke with a Mark Anonthy. He told me that I had to send in another 465 before I can get my money. Like a fool I sent the money, after that I called him back and he told me the money will me in my account within 30mins. About 3 hours later no money again. I called and called I finally got thru and I spoke with a man who said he was the CEO of the company I told him what happen and he told me Brian and Mark gave me the wrong information.in order to get an 8,000 loan I had to send in 2,700 before I could get the loan. I told him no and I am not sending this fake company any more money. I told him I wanted a refund he said it takes 10-15days before I can get a refund. I told him no I wanted my money back that day. He told me that he will call me back my mid week since we talked on the weekend. Mid week came and the phone number no longer works. I am out of 1,980 that money I really need bad. I want them to pay me back. If anybody have any information about this company please send me the information.
