Oct 1 i read an add in our local newspaper about a company offering loans for people with no or bad credit. I called to see if I could get approved for a loan. They took all my info over the phone like a phone app. They said they would be getting back with me a the next week to inform me if they were able to approve me. Nov 3 I get a call back from a Brenda Hall saying that I had been approved for a loan of $3000.00. But because my credit was not perfect I had three options I could do to receive my loan. First-get someone to cosign with a credit score of 720 or higher. Second-Pay a insurance for the loan to cover if i defaulted which was $1200.00. Or third I could send them a collateral payment of $675.00. I told them that it sounded fishy to me and it didn't sound right. So she told me to go there website and look to see if it look official. I did. I called her back and told her I would choose the collateral option. So she told me to send a payment of 675 to a miriam hendy and NOva Scotia Canada. I asked why I was sending it to Canada when they were based out of seattle. SHe told me that her company couldnt approve my loan because of credit so they had to find a third party to sponser my loan. This miriam hendy was a ceo of some company in canada that were willing to sponser my loan so I had to show good faith by sending the money to her directly. I did. She told me to call back in with the reference # when I had sent it. I did. She told me there should be $3000.00 in my account in two hours. Two hours came and went no money. I called her back. No answer. Three day I tried to get ahold of her and find out what was going on and I'm panicking the whole time. She calls back and sais there was problem with my credit from the intial time they ran my credit. That in order for Miriam Hendy to approve my loan she would need another $1000.00. I told Brenda I didn't think that was right and she agreed and said that she would guarntee that if I sent the other thousand they would add an additonal thousand to my loan brining it to $4000.00. I said ok. Two hours later still no money in my account. When I called back and talked to Brenda she said she could no longer help me that I would have to talk to someone in the customer care dept. Ext 10. So she transfered me and I talked to a Shawn. He said that miriam Hendy said I was to risky to loan any money to and if I wanted to still get approved for the loan I would need to buy the insurance for an additonal 1200.00. I said no give me a refund of the 1675.00 I already had send. He said ok but it would be 45 buisness days. I called in January to find out were my money was. They told me to call back first part of Feb. I did have not been able to get ahold of them yet. Called everyday two three times a day always get there answering machine. This company is a rip off. I can't believe I let them talk me into sending them that much money.
