I responded to a radio ad for an electronic cigarette for free.
When contacted they said I had to pay shipping and handling and other programs were offered. I declined on any and all programs that were offered and I was told it was a one-time charge of 79.90.
I did not order another cigarette nor had I had enrolled in any cartridge refill program. The card I used which was my father's and his account has been charged
another 79.90 30 days later.
I have gone to the company website and followed instructions to cancel enrollment to a program I had not enroll in. Subsequently the email address was bogus and returned as a failed delivery.
I had a third party call Smoke Assist as if they wanted to purchase a cigarette.
And he was told it was a one time charge and repeated it three times that it was a one-time charge.
We now know this is a fraudulent offer, so my father has now gone to the bank and tried to stop any further charges from this company.
