I think the person who works in the credit union has a valid point. However, a consumer should be able to contact the agency and be able to cancel the transaction. I did call the number listed in by her and only got continual ringing and click off of phone disconnecting.

I did google Hollywood Talent Services and found it was now called Hollywood Profiles aka Hollywood Talent Services. The talent agent informed me that it has always been Hollywood Profiles but that billing was under the Hollywood Talent Services.

My credit card company told me that they could only put a hold on my card or give me a new card. The hold would not allow any charges at all rather than target that company. The agent told me that it would take up to 8 weeks for charge to appear on my statement. I mentioned it was a credit card not a debit card and then he revised the time to 4 weeks. I asked him why it took so long as I have cancelled other things and it only took up to 3 days. I was told this was just to make sure it went through without any problems. He also said he would put top priority on my request. So, in otherwards, it may take a couple of days or up to four weeks.

I told him his company was a ripoff. I had been trying to get hold of them for months. Only by stumbling on this new name was I able to contact anyone.By the way the phone number is 1-800-270-7138.

Be prepared to wait a long time listening to obnoxious music before someone comes on. Don't get discouraged.

He had the nerve to offer me a free month, but I would have to keep the account active to do so. I did tell him I had been calling for at least six months to get this taken care of but I was sure they wouldn't refund that time but I did want the refund for the month they just took out.

There you have it. If you don't decide to cancel within that 14 day period just don't sign up and you won't have to go through this again. Hope this helps.
