This internet company using the web address of DisasterAidKit.com advertises a disaster kit for only $1 and a handling charge of $3.99. When you receive the package you will note that the items sent are those which can be purchased in a local dollar store. The privacy notice states that if you are not satisfied you can return the kit. You must notify them by email at [email protected] for a RMA number. A contact number is also given if you choose to call at 1-877-231-2803.
When a call is made all one hears is music and NO ONE answers. There is NO response to the support website when a request is made for a RMA number. Thus, your credit card is charged $99.95. I have called CA to verify the address and to see if there was another telephone number and was told the address didn't exist and therefore, there wasn't a number. I have notified my credit card company and the Glendale City police. I clearly understand they have posted a Privacy Policy/Terms, however, this policy is ambiguous and confusing. The bottom line is there is NO way one can contact this website/company either by phone or email to return the kits even though they state you can return the kits within 10 days.
I would like to see this "company" stopped and prosecuted. I work hard for my money.
