Bank Of America has added an escrow account to my Mortgage, for some reason even after I refused Some program called Making Homes Affordable. They took it upon themselves to enroll me raising my mortgage from less than $400.00 a month to $1027.40 month (which would break a poor person How would this help anyways, should be called the HURT loan not the Hope loan if I did want it) On January 7th I recieved an invite packet to join this program (That I never even asked for, as again I am not delinquent) and of course I refused their offer by not signing anything, returning the packet to them UNSIGNED with a letter stating I Never even inquired about this program at any time, as I am ok with the payment schedule I have. Someone inside the company had added escrow (Apparently enrolled me) to my account and jumped in and paid my house taxes in December - Due on Jan, 31st on Dec 2nd. Program they offered (Now I am not delinquent, have paid my own taxes (also not delinquent)
When I went to the treasurers office to pay my first installment on my taxes, the county would not accept my money. I contacted the Bank of America only for them to transfer me to 36 plus different representatives (Dates and times and Names documented0 and they told me We will straighten this out. Meanwhile on March 3rd my payment amount required is still $1027.40 I have requested help daily, each time to be told ~ Oh we can't do anything in this department, you have to talk to (36) different people." My treasurer told me it is against the law, providing me with Wisconsin Statutes that protects us from our bank changing our mortgage requirements without our agreeing. I need help as I can't get any resolve from this company for a Mess they made. Now I must add that the other day I had to contact my Home owners Insurance company and tell them that apparently This bank has sent a check to pay my insurance premiums, that I already am paying monthly Ontime, with a direct withdrawel. I asked them to refuse and return this check from them I Hope that will work, or they will be getting paid twice also. Not one person can tell me WHO took it upon themselves to enroll me, nor will any of them Help to get it removed and put everything back the way it was. This kind of payment will Be financial Bankruptcy for me as I am dissabled and live on a limited budget. I feel as if they are trying to cause a foreclosure, and ruin my Credit. Anyone out their that can Help PLEASE ADVISE, as to who and what I can do to save my home and my credit, that I have worked hard to repair, only to face this.
