Consumer Portfolio Services CPS
Terriorist of Low Income Individuals and Families Terrorist of the Low Income

Where do any of us start with our experience with Consumer Portfolio Services? Maybe we can all start with we are victums of Illegal and unconstitutional credit lending practices.

It all started with a very high interest rate for a car that I needed to get back and forth to work. But hey have we all not been lured by Credit Lending companies, contracts and credit card companies with a promise to work with us? Yeah Right were we all not blind folded by Consumer Portfolio Services.

First criminal act: They added the free month from payments into my contract. Yup they insturcted the Auto Dealership to not give me my contract in that they would mail this to me.

Second Criminal act: 10,000 for a 4000 car. Boy was I stupid

Third act: claiming I was behind on payments then contacting and interfearing my work at work. My job responsibility was to work a hotline and Consumer Portfolio Services called every hour at my work, Yelling and screaming at me. The hotline was monopolized by them.

Fouth Criminal Act: Threats to coworkers, family and friends that I had stole the vehicle, they would throw them in jail if they did not tell them where I was at, They were putting an APD out on me for stollen vehicle, and also calling them 5 to 6 times a day with threats. My mother was a nervious wreck and she is very very sick. For crying out loud according to their records I made payments every month but they were claiming I was one month behind (remember they added a month to my contract)

Fifth Criminal Act: After I had contacted them that I could not pay on the vehicle anymore to come and pick it up they never called back, but a tow truck showed up 7 days later and towed the car away. The towing company never left a receipt, although my friend and neighbors saw the unmarked tow company take the car. And only Consumer Portfolio Services would have know where it was at because it was sitting in a back lot of my duplex.

Six Criminal Act: They sent a threating letter to pay the $10,000 on a vehicle I no longer have.

Seventh Criminal Act: I have moved to another state into a very small community and I did leave a forwarding address with the Post Office. I just received another threat from Consumer Portfolio Services that If I do not pay the $10,000 they would contact a local Attorney in my area to prosecute.

Why do they continue to break the law, simple we can not afford an attorney to defend us and they know this.

Is there anyone that can help all of us from this company?
